Professional Experience
A trajectory of improvement, field execution, and technical leadership.
Baker Hughes
Aug. 2024 – Sep. 2025Mexico Sourcing Specialist Intern
- Produced 250+ SAP and Excel reports analyzing 1,500+ parts across four sourcing areas supporting USD $14M+ monthly spend, surfacing demand, savings, and supply-risk priorities.
- Supported a USD $5M+ annual savings target by benchmarking supplier pricing against prior-year, regional/global, and in-house baselines.
- Cleared a USD $2M+ payment backlog for a critical single-source supplier, strengthening supply continuity and relations.
Contaré
Jan. 2026 – PresentBusiness Operations & Automation Intern
- Reduced biweekly payroll processing for 500+ employees from approximately 15 hours to 2 hours by automating consolidation, calculations, validations, and reporting with Excel VBA and Power Query; reduced staffing needs from four people to one.
- Manage operational and fiscal workflows for four clients, building standardized automations across expense capture, purchases, invoice validation, and payroll controls.
Chambee
2024 – PresentCo-Founder
- Defined the business model, including client fees, worker charges, and payment processing flows using Stripe for payments and worker verification.
- Led early go to market planning, focusing on organic acquisition strategies and phased social media campaigns ahead of product launch.
- Built KPI dashboards to track job activity, geographic coverage, and operational performance.
Layne de México
May 2023 – Aug. 2023Welder & Diesel Mechanic Intern
- Supported field maintenance and fabrication for trucks, diesel engines, heavy equipment, and drilling equipment through preventive maintenance, hydraulic and electrical support, SMAW/FCAW welding, plasma cutting, and oxy-fuel cutting.
Academic Tutor
FormativeFreelance Technical Communicator
- Conducted rigorous physics, chemistry, and math tutoring for over 18 hours per week.
- Notably improved a student with disabilities grades from 40% to 85% over 20+ sessions and developed deep leadership and technical clarity through peer instruction.
Selected Projects
Selected Projects
In-House CNC Lathe Design and Build
Mechanical Design / CNC Manufacturing
Led electrical and motion-control integration for a 14-person team that designed and built an in-house CNC lathe for ball joint production.
- Configured Mach3, spindle transmission, stepper motors, drives, safety controls, and grounding.
- Supported delivery of a low-vibration lathe capable of machining 0.75-inch stock in approximately 3 minutes.
- Achieved approximately 0.1–0.5 mm tolerances.
- Supported a MXN $35K build compared with a comparable new machine costing more than MXN $1M.
Heat Exchanger Airflow Optimization
CFD Simulation / Thermal-Fluid Engineering
Modeled and simulated six tube-angle configurations in ANSYS Fluent to evaluate airflow performance in a heat exchanger system.
- Used SST k-omega turbulence modeling, mesh generation, boundary-condition setup, and streamline analysis.
- Identified the strongest configuration based on airflow penetration, distribution, and reduced recirculation.
- Presented engineering recommendations to Daikin engineers.
Paint Booth Gate Structural Redesign
Structural Design / SolidWorks Simulation
Contributed to four design iterations of an A36 steel immersion-gate redesign for a paint booth.
- Used SolidWorks Simulation and hand calculations.
- Evaluated loads, Von Mises stress, deflection, welds, fasteners, and stress concentrations.
- Reached a factor of safety of 3 while improving load distribution and manufacturability.
